Based in EPS’s Independence, Ohio headquarters and reporting to the EPS Director of Strategy and Growth, the EPS Strategy Analyst will have direct responsibility for providing daily support related to the development of EPS’s top line growth strategy including organic growth, inorganic growth, divestitures and all associated processes.
Responsibilities:
• Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of EPS products, services, strategies and financial results.
• Supports the development and execution of top line growth strategies across the EPS Group.
• Participates in the business unit reviews and development of their organic and inorganic growth plans.
• Participates in the business unit divestiture reviews and planning process.
• Supports the development of group wide plans to execute on the EPS growth strategy.
• Supports the development of a process and mechanism to identify inorganic growth opportunities with a high strategic fit.
• Supports the financial evaluation process to determine appropriate acquisition price points and market timing strategies.
• Coordinates a process to monitor targeted acquisitions and ensure the short and long term growth objectives of the business group are met.
• Supports the process to ensure appropriate divestiture approach and timing.
• Supports the development of EPS strategic presentations.
• Ensures that the work in process presentations, from first draft to final, are reviewed and edited following EPS processes and procedures.
• Plays a consultative role in the production of presentations (e.g., content suggestions, draft/final production time-line, number of copies, etc.).
• Completes additional tasks as assigned by EPS Director of Strategy and Growth (e.g., lead special projects, EPS metrics).
• Provides support for Alcoa Corporate growth initiatives

Basic Qualifications The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in supporting top line growth initiatives. He/she will be an expert in developing supporting processes to enable clearly articulated growth strategies, marketplace monitoring and business scenario modeling. He/she will have demonstrated success in representing the strategic position of a business and will be an expert in outlining strategy and succinctly translating the strategy into easy to understand presentations. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience developing and delivering strong support processes and analysis. The successful candidate’s education credentials are likely to include a Bachelor’s degree in the economics, finance or business. A Master’s degree would be preferred, but is not required.

• Strong analytical skills: The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to logically connect market growth opportunities with business needs and execution plans and build processes to deliver the strategy.
• Merger, acquisition and divestiture: The successful candidate will have several years of increasing experience supporting global mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
• Results orientation: The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to deliver consistently outstanding daily results.
• Continuous improvement: The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to continuously improve the EPS presentations by seeking feedback and aligning the EPS business strategy with customer needs and market opportunities.
