Title Electrical Maintenance Coordinator~ Requisition Number 6679BR Job Function Maintenance Business Unit Global Rolled Prod & Hard Alloy Ext Location TN-Alcoa Job Status Full-Time Relocation Eligible Yes Minimum Education Required Associates Minimum Years of Experience 4 Minimum Travel Required 0-25% The successful candidate will be responsible for the functional and administrative leadership of the Central Electrical Maintenance groups for the Central Services and Engineering Organization. Electrical Utilities, Instrument Shop, and HVAC are sub-groups of Central Electrical Maintenance with employment of 19 electricians and 1 electrical technical specialist. Central Electrical Maintenance provides services to two large industrial facilities at Tennessee Operations.
The position will also be accountable for the high voltage system reliability for Rigid Packaging by establishing preventive maintenance requirements, securing system downtime availability, and scheduling labor through third party providers such as Tapoco, Inc. The position will report to the Central Engineering and Services Manager. Basic Qualifications * Electrical associate’s degree or equivalent
* 5 years experience with electrical controls, instrumentation, communication systems, and HVAC in an industrial environment
* 2+ years experience with power distribution systems up to 13,800 volts
* Leadership with strong interpersonal and communications skills, tenacity, and drive for change
* A bias for accuracy and attention to detail
* Effective problem-solving skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
* 10+ years experience with electrical maintenance and reliability and power distribution systems
* Working knowledge of Oracle applications
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience and use of Alcoa Business System tools or equivalent including Kaizen, problem solving, TPM, and Daily Management
* Experience with driving change through hourly work teams
